in the book of Daniel chapter 12 Daniel is told to keep what he's shown secret to seal the book until the end of time until the time of the end. In the amplified Bible translation it literally says many will go back and forth and search anxiously through the scroll or the scriptures and knowledge of the purpose of God as revealed by His prophets will greatly increase. Knowledge really is increasing, but unfortunately some of that knowledge is very hard to swallow. Because we're finding out just how evil men can be. Like the list that the apostle Paul wrote to Timothy... He told Timothy understand this that in the last days dangerous times of great stress and trouble will come difficult days will be hard to bear because people will be lovers of themselves lovers of money impelled by greed.... 2 Timothy 3 And as believers we know it's getting difficult and we feel like we're being squeezed because this world is not our home. But for those believers who are still looking for the easy way out and believe that complying with everything the world dictates is the way they'll be safe... But nothing could be further from the truth. Too many believers are lazy in their spiritual maturing and would rather listen to preachers they never dig into the word of God and find out if it's true or not what they're telling them. They’d rather believe that there is a pre-tribulation rapture and that we'll just be lifted out of here before any trials and real sorrow takes place. Paul said it's necessary to go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God, but how many churches are preaching that? Jesus said, enter through the narrow gate for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction and there are many who go through it how narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life and few find it.
